Serhan Hotel, Gumbet

The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from the beach and close to all the bustling shops and bars. The rooms, despite their small size, offer a clean and pool-facing environment; however, there was a noticeable odor issue over the weekend. The service was exceptional with friendly staff eager to assist, including the attentive bar manager Ismil and the brilliant night security. The location couldn't be better, being just minutes away from the beach and near the vibrant Bar Street. The dining experience, while offering a variety of Turkish-style dishes, had small portion sizes but delicious flavors. The facilities were well-maintained, particularly the cozy pool area with ample sunbeds and umbrellas for relaxation.

The local shops offering Turkish goodies were a nice touch, plus the friendly staff added to the great value for money. The lack of kettles in the rooms is a downside, so remember to bring your own along with mugs. The courtesy room provided on the top floor for changing and showering on our departure day was a thoughtful gesture!

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were a bit small and grimey at first, but after speaking to the rep, I was given a lovely quiet room on the other side of the building.
